    We are now seeking a position of Snr Field Marketing Manager, the primary marketing support staff and has tactical responsibility for the execution of all digital marketing programs such as webinars, lead generation electronic direct mailers and conferences/ seminars.

    The key role of Field Marketing lies in supporting the company’s product and brand strategy through the delivery of global initiatives and regional sales programs across the industry verticals and target segments. The Field Marketing Manager will be required to work closely with the Regional Sales and Business Consulting teams, as well as with other regional marketing and the global corporate teams (i.e. Product Marketing, Corporate Programs, Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications etc). This position reports to the Snr Director, Field Marketing - Asia Pacific.


    • Define, manage and execute integrated field marketing programs which directly support the company's go-to-market strategy and sales initiatives for B2B business in Japan.  
    • Responsible for all Japan digital programs execution such as webinars, electronic direct mailers, online community and seminars.
    • Manage individual Field Marketing project budgets and ensure the event/acct based activities meets marketing objectives set and ROI.
    • Manage the process of qualifying and tracking leads and prospects generated from marketing activities in the sales/marketing database and disseminate leads to sales for follow-up.
    • Manage marketing material requirements for Japan, including translation and localization of corporate marketing collaterals, shipping and inventory control of such material.
    • Ensure that localized material conforms to an overall, consistent Aspentech brand image, messaging and positioning.
    • Negotiate contracts, manage relationships with existing vendors and source new vendors as necessary.
    • Use omni Channel marketing best practices to meet marketing goals and KPOs.
    • Provide timely reports and updates on program objectives and ROI, analyze effectiveness of the event, and make recommendations for improvement.
    • Track, monitor and manage marketing analytics leading to optimize program effectiveness and outreach.
    • Work in alignment and support of Field Sales and Country Manager.
    • Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing and Product Marketing teams.
    • Ensure appropriateness of presentation content, look and feel.
    • Facilitate communication of field sales requirements back to Corporate Marketing and Product Marketing.
    • He/she will serve in a functionally-oriented region-wide role and may participate as part of the broader APAC Field Marketing team in support of marketing activities across the Asia Pacific region.


    • Solid experience working in multinational corporations.
    • 10 years of direct experience in high tech software or related industry in the energy, petrochemical or process industry.
    • Communications/event marketing background mandatory.
    • BA/BS in business or marketing or equivalent.

    Requirement and Skills/Knowledge

    • Excellent ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbal and written in English and Japanese.
    • Strong background in digital marketing and experience in social media marketing besides having a solid foundation in marketing and communications fundamentals.
    • Exceptional project management and organizational skills in events.
    • A self motivated individual contributor who can work independently.
    • Proven ability to prioritize, plan, manage and execute multiple projects/events simultaneously and deliver on-time.
    • Understanding and knowledge of the business culture and environment of the Japan market (Process Industries).
    • Has working knowledge of Eloqua,, Webex etc.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Is a strong team player and truly understands how to leverage teamwork to achieve bigger success beyond individual contributions.
    • Able to work extended hours if called upon to do so.
    • Able to travel for work – one week to two per qtr.
