Overview

The Knowledge Manager role facilitates all phases of content creation from ideation, design, delivery, cataloging and retrieval. The purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of a consistent pipeline of quality content to meet business objectives while maximizing the return on our investment. This key person owns responsibility for content planning, content management, implementation and maintenance. Critical to this role will establishing process, cross-functional collaboration, managing resourcing constraints and ability to deliver results aligned with business priorities. 

Responsibilities

  • Converts content requirements into production plans
  • Builds and maintains integrated content production calendar supporting multiple campaigns and events.
  • Operates as center point of reference on all content production activities and plans
  • Provides insight on production workload and bottlenecks to inform prioritization and ensure deadlines are met
  • Manages content creation from ideation to deployment using AspenTech’s content management tools.
  • Ensures stakeholders maintain a single view of the content pipeline and schedule
  • Facilitates and maintains a single view of all content
  • Advises teams on content available to support marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Manage taxonomy and ensure all content assets are tagged and up to date.
  • Write/edit copy for marketing materials ensuring consistency, completeness, and aligned to corporate brand.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree combined with 8-10 years of related experience
  • Several years’ experience in Knowledge Management and Copy writing
  • Demonstrated experience managing content development with distributed teams
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a deadline-focused work environment
  • Comfortable working with team members at all levels, including senior management
  • Familiarity with SEO’s role in content development and publishing
  • Previous experience supporting content audits
  • Self-starter and agile, with a can-do attitude
  • Experience writing, editing and proofreading
  • A preference for candidates with experience using Sitecore, Sharepoint Online or similar tools
  • A preference for candidates with experience in B2B high-tech and/or process industries
  • 10% travel
