Aspen Technology is looking for a Senior HR Coordinator to join our Corporate Headquarters team located in Bedford, MA. Reporting to the Director of HRIS, this position is an employee facing role responsible for the execution of HR administrative processes and support for the HRIS, Recruiting and HR Business Partners functions. As a key member of the team and first point of contact in HR, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of related experience and drive for providing exceptional employee support.


This individual will provide critical administrative support both domestic and global HR tasks.

  • Manage the new hire on-boarding process
  • Prepare offer and confirmation letters
  • Process requests for employment verifications
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions
  • Coordinate new hire set-up with our Facilities, Information Services, and Payroll partners
  • Facilitate the Global Purchase Requisition (GPR) process for HR-related expenses
  • Process department invoices for payment
  • Maintain Personnel files
  • Support recruitment activities for the talent acquisition team
  • Support HR Director with all immigration administration matters, as required
  • Participate in HR initiatives and other related projects involving HRIS, Recruiting, Organizational Development, Business Partners and Benefits as assigned
  • Global administration for employee record entries and updates into the Oracle HRIS system
  • Notify and engage HRIS analyst with any system errors, alerts or data discrepancies
  • Run reports and queries using HRIS and other HR Systems related to various HR metrics
  • Execute auditing and analysis of employee data as defined by our audit controls


  • Associate's degree
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated HR administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Human Resources administrative experience in a high technology environment preferred.
  • Oracle HRIS experience preferred. 
  • Solid expertise prioritizing, multi-tasking, and performing assignments with minimal supervision. Exceptional organizational skills. Strong bias for action.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels in the organization including Senior Management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion, sound judgment, tact and diplomacy in all communications.
  • Experience maintaining confidentiality of assignments due to the exposure to sensitive information and contacts.
