Learning: Gain proficiency in Aspen Technology’s core products and processes by working as an Engineer primarily in the development of customer focused online training materials, which offers career growth in a variety of future specializations. Product knowledge will be gained through self-study, on the job and training, meetings, and coaching. Specific learning objectives to be determined.


Projects: Depending on the role and business needs, candidates can contribute to a wide range of initiatives using our engineering software, models and documentation for chemical and refining processes and equipment, physical properties, distillation and reaction engineering, advanced process control, manufacturing execution systems, supply chain operations, and asset performance management.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related area technical degree.
  • Strong foundation and experience in engineering and data analysis, especially modeling, design, and analysis
    • Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills.
    • English fluency (written and verbal) is required.
    • Experience in presenting information in creative ways using rich media technologies is desirable.
    • Knowledge of AspenTech products is desirable.
    • Experience with developing teaching materials is desirable
    • Willing to learn a range of business or technical specialties based on business needs.
    • Strong academic performance.
    • Some programming experience is desirable.
