We are looking for an energetic individual to serve as a Senior Accountant for this fast paced, global company. The Senior Accountant position will be a valuable member of the team responsible for processing, accounting and reporting global revenue streams. This position is based at our Corporate headquarters in Bedford, Massachusetts.

• Review new bookings against revenue analysis provided to ensure revenue is systematically being recognized appropriately, including both ASC 605 and ASC 606 Transactions/Accounting
• Support the revenue close process which includes preparing journal entries, verifying the accuracy of subledgers and the preparation of periodic supporting schedules and analyses on a timely basis.
• Create revenue account reconciliations, supporting schedules and financial reports and provide appropriate audit support and documentation for various revenue accounts.
• Analyze fluctuations between forecasted and actual revenue results and prepare supporting documentation to be used in Management meetings
• Apply GAAP in business context in area of responsibility.
• Be instrumental in improving the revenue close process and other accounting process flows.
• Ensure that policies and processes in the revenue area are Sarbanes-Oxley compliant
• Play a key role in special projects and other assignments as required.

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
• 5+ years accounting experience required.
• Revenue processing in an international, multi-currency company of approximately $200 million or greater in annual revenue is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills are essential; experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of general accounting principles and their application as well as a demonstrated ability to apply these in the business context.
• Must be detail oriented, customer oriented, and possess excellent analytical abilities.
• Must be strong team player and have a strong work ethic.
