  • Overview

    Key member of the Legal Department of a NASDAQ-listed global provider of asset optimization software solutions for companies in capital-intensive industries. Responsible for supporting bid responses and negotiation and execution of customer and partner agreements, including software license, consulting services, reseller, OEM and VAR agreements.


    • Update, streamline and maintain contract templates.
    • Screen proposed agreements with internal customers to prioritize Legal review.
    • Conduct first line legal review of contract documentation for GEI customers.
    • Represent the legal department in DealDesk review meetings.
    • Assist in the completion of RFP/RFI responses.
    • Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure contractual issues are addressed efficiently.
    • Travel as required
    • Conduct business in multiple time zones
    • Conduct various legal projects and other duties as assigned.


    • Exercises meticulous attention to detail and an organized approach to quickly identifying the problem to be solved, and then solving it.
    • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communications.
    • Possesses solid grasp of contract concepts, negotiation strategies and efficient administration and automation of contract processes.
    • Is a decisive, independent self-starter with strong interpersonal management skills who can maintain effective working relationships across departments, and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines and resource constraints.
    • J.D. degree from an accredited law school and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts or another US jurisdiction.
    • Minimum of five years’ experience working with contracts, including technology-related contracts in international transactions.
    • Fluency in business Spanish or Portuguese is desired.
