  • Overview

    The Systems Administrator will be working with Windows and Linux operating systems in an enterprise corporate environment to supportInfrastructure services. Lead support administrator for Microsoft Active Directory environment, Office 365, cloud services including Azure and Amazon Web Services, and backup systems. This person is responsible for evaluating and installing patches and resolving hardware and software related problems under minimal supervision. In addition, this person will work with other staff members, peers and business partners on projects to maintain technical infrastructure systems, policies and procedures


    • Primary administration of Enterprise Windows environment including Active Directory, Group policy, DNS, and DHCP
    • Build, maintain and update Windows 2003/2008/2012 servers
    • Build, maintain and manage cloud services including Office 365, Azure, and Amazon Web Services
    • Problem resolution for technical issues escalated from internal Help Desk system
    • Diagnoses and repairs system problems
    • Server maintenance on both virtual and physical environment
    • Monitor and troubleshoots system performance
    • Lead administrator for enterprise backup systems (Veeam and EMC Networker)
    • Heavily involved on project teams and lead infrastructure projects with minimal supervision
    • Participate in and abide by company security activities, policies, audits, procedures, including SOX compliance and internal audit activities. 
    • Establishes, documents, maintains, and monitors compliance to internal and SOX security policies and compliance
    • Create, maintain departmental and procedure documentation
    • Participate in an On-call rotation


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technology
    • 2+ years of installing and administering Windows Server in support of Business Applications
    • 2+ years administrating Microsoft Exchange or Office 365
    • 2+ years administrating enterprise backup systems
    • 2+ years of experience with Azure, Amazon Web Services including administration and architecture
    • 2+ years of experience with VMWare ESX (5.x) including centralized administration using Virtual Center – VCP certification desired
    • Experience with collocation Data Center concepts, practices, and procedures required
    • MS Windows expertise (MCSE required)
    • Operating Systems (Microsoft Windows Server & exposure in Linux)
    • Rack & Blade server system experience (HP preferred)
    • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Experience working on a team and/or leading team projects
    • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Some travel may be required
    • Availability after normal business hours as needed
