    The Finance Sr. Manager for the Revenue Determination Group (RDG), reporting to the VP, Finance – Revenue Controller will manage all revenue recognition processes for the North American team, including managing the team players. This role will work with the other cross functional members of Finance, the Sales Team, Legal and Sales Operations to assist with structuring customer agreements and the agreement approval process. They will ensure all revenue agreements comply with the applicable external revenue recognition guidance and internal company standards and policies.


    • Review complex, multi-element agreements to support compliance with applicable external authoritative literature and internal guidelines
    • Work with cross-functional groups on a pre-sales basis to ensure that agreements are structured in a way that ensures revenue will be recognized properly while following all commercial internal policies and procedures
    • Manage the North American team
    • Prepare and review all ad-hoc technical memos and other projects as necessary
    • Responsible for providing revenue recognition guidance from an external perspective as issues and questions arise
    • Assist in completing month-end deliverables ensuring timely completion
    • Review periodic studies, internal revenue presentations and other internal revenue training material (including VSOE, Fair Value, etc.)
    • Assist in the external audit for revenue related activities, this includes all internal and external work for Sarbanes-Oxley
    • Document and further develop related accounting policies and procedures


    • Bachelor degree in Business
    • 10+ years of finance experience including 'Big Four' Public Accountant experience and/or extensive applicable experience in private industry.
    • Minimum of five years of prior experience in a revenue recognition role as a People Manager
    • Superior analytical skills, with experience in the revenue management of a high tech company
    • CPA strongly preferred
    • Experience with ASC 606 ( SOP 97-2, SOP 81, SAB 104 and EITF 08-1 )
    • Strong organizational skills and experience related to cross-functional processes
    • Attention to detail and ability to present data in a comprehensive and articulate manner 
    • Outstanding communication skills and a personal style that will facilitate open dialogue and engagement with both external and internal constituencies is a requirement.
